This Privacy Policy applies to Checkstack, the reusable checklist app for iPhone published by Jafforge (“we”, “us”, “our”). It replaces our general apps policy for this app, because Checkstack collects considerably less than that policy allows for.

Summary

Checkstack collects nothing. It has no internet connection at all.

  • No account, no sign-in, no email address, no name.
  • No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
  • Your lists and their run history stay on your iPhone and are never transmitted.
  • The app requests no system permissions: no location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts or notifications.

What we collect

Nothing. We have no server, and Checkstack contains no networking code, so there is no mechanism by which your data could reach us even in principle.

What the app stores on your device

Only what you enter, held in the app’s own local database:

  • Your checklists, their titles and notes
  • The items on each list and whether they are currently ticked
  • The run history: for each completed pass, the date and time you reset the list, how many items were ticked, and which ones

This is written only to your device’s private app storage. It is included in your normal iPhone backup under Apple’s terms, the same as any other app’s data, and it is deleted when you delete the app.

Third parties

There are none. Checkstack bundles no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or attribution SDK, and makes no request to any server, ours or anyone else’s.

Children

Checkstack is a general-purpose list tool and is not directed at children. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Checkstack adds a feature that changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the app’s release notes.
